You might remember her from a slew of Forever 21 campaigns, however the pink-haired grunge enthusiast will soon be plastered on even more billboards and TV commercials, thus making her face even more impossible to miss.

Quite frankly, her mainstream career highlights are of little interest to anyone who cares about innovative fashion perspectives. The real fascination stems from her personal aesthetic, and overall love of aliens, the 90s, feminism, club kids, death metal and psychedelics. Most of these interests transcend into her daily fashion choices when she is not on the runway, revealing an eclectic personality that fASHLIN personally finds to be incredibly refreshing. When she isn't feeling like being overly "grunge", she takes her personal style towards a more psychedelic nu-goth direction. Think of 90s club kid chunky platforms, infused with alien t-shirts, black and white striped leggings and plaid flannels. She also is incredibly fond of oversized puffy jackets, obnoxious ski hats and anything remotely associated with the LA Lakers. She actively keeps a busy Tumblr page that reflects these qualities under the surname Princess Zelda, in which she posts a plethora of nature infused pictures mixed with anti-anorexia statements and responses to questions fans have asked her. It seems as though Charlotte has become a personal fan favorite of not only Tumblr grunge and nu-goth tags, but people in the industry alike. As far as designers go, Free is obsessed with Jeremy Scott and Christopher Kane, which comes as no surprise considering the pair both utilize rather unconventional design aesthetics. Jeremy Scott in particular first used her to open his S/S 2011 runway show (even though she is only 5' 7), and has since made her the main focus in every project he has done to date, most recently for his Fall 2012 lookbook.
